The ITMAV project aims to reach isolated seniors, reconnecting them with local resources. Using an individualized approach, the outreach worker establishes contact with seniors in public places. While developing a bond of trust, she listens and refers seniors to the appropriate resources. These actions have a positive impact on isolation, abuse and suicide prevention. Seniors are also encouraged to take action to improve their quality of life.
